Three hours of incessant rain leads to water logging in prominent areas

Mangaluru, July 30, 2022: Three hours of continuous rains accompanied by strong winds, thunder and lightning  left the city in total mess on Saturday morning with several prominent roads presenting a dismal picture due to water logging resulting in untold hardship to the citizens.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rain water also entered the premises of Mangaluru Central Railway Station. Attavar area too bore the brunt and rain water entered many buildings.  The situation near Pumpwell and Padil was chaotic and as usual Kottara Chowki too witnessed water logging.

Citizens are questioning the authorities for the failure to ensure adequate arrangements for free flow of rain water.
