Three containment zones denotified in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, April 28, 2020:   Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh has issued an order  lifting seal down from three containment zones  of the district  after no fresh Covid-19 positive cases were reported from these areas in the past 28 days. Those areas which are now freed from seal down are Sajipanadu in Bantwal taluk, Karaya in Belthangady taluk and Ajjavara of Sullia.

 

All the Corona positive patients of these three places have been cured and even the primary and secondary contacts have completed their quarantine period following which the seal down has been lifted.

Presently, a total of eight areas including Sampya in Puttur taluk, Uppinangady, Bantwal taluk’s Kasaba, Thumbay, Narikombu, First Neuro Hospital near Padil, Kulshekhar and Thokkottu  have been declared containment  zones in the district.
