Thousands of students read out Preamble of Constitution at Udupi

Udupi, Sep 15, 2023: The Udupi District Administration organised a mass event of reading the Preamble of the Constitution at the Ajjarkad Stadium on September 15, Saturday.

 

 

 

Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr Vidyakumari read out the Preamble which was repeated by thousands of students who had gathered at the ground.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said the Preamble was an important aspect of our constitution which clearly states as to how the Legislature, Executive and Judiciary has to function.

She said the Preamble of the constitution must be displayed at all government offices and schools and urged everyone to be broadminded.

The event was organised on the occasion of International Democracy Day.
