Thokkottu: Thief decamps with cash, other items; act caught on CCTV camera

Mangaluru, Aug 04, 2023: A serial theft case reported from Olapete in Thokkottu on August 2, Wednesday night has been caught on CCTV camera.

 

 

The theft took place in Laxmi Canteen, Silver Star Enterprises and SS Communications. In all three cases, the thief had entered by dislodging roof tiles and escaped with cash and other goods.

As there was a CCTV camera in Silver Star Enterprises a shop dealing in steel items, the thief’s face could be visible. Cops suspect a Nepali migrant labourer behind the act.

Further investigations are in progress.
