Thieves who break into hotel flee with CCTV camera too!

Udupi, March 16, 2013 : If in a recent case of bike lifting at Kundapur, the thieves were caught in action in a CCTV camera, in another case, this one reported from Saibarakatte, thieves who broke into a restaurant, in an apparent bid to prevent being detected, took away even the CC Camera.

The incident took place at the Swagat Bar and Restaurant at Saibarakatte. The thieves seemed to be extra alert in this case, but   little aware of the fact that the footage is safe in the main storage unit.

The thieves who entered the restaurant by breaking the window rods, then stole Rs 20,000 from the cash box and before fleeing noticed the CC Camera staring at them.

They decided to make a few bucks by selling it too and removed it and took it with them hoping their identity would remain a secret.

A case has been registered in Brahmavar police station.
