Thieves barge into locked house; steal Rado watch, DVR

Vittal, May 27, 2024: Thieves who broke into a locked house near the Parthippady mosque at Vittlapadnur have stolen a valuable watch and a DVR after they could not find any other jewellery despite ransacking four cupboards in the house.

 

The house owner M K Khaleel is staying overseas and had visited home about a month ago.

On Sunday morning, when family members came to the house, the front door was open. The thieves had changed the direction of the CCTV camera and had searched the entire house. They had even switched the AC on. After not finding any jewellery, they stole a Rado watch worth Rs one lakh and a DVR.
