Teenager who was rescued from drowning, dies in hospital

Bantwal, Aug 10, 2022: A 16 year old boy who had slipped into the Netravathi river at Kagekana in Barimar village on August 9, Tuesday and was rescued by the locals, died in the hospital.

 

The deceased is Rakshan, of Barimar. He was a first PUC student of a local college and had been to the river banks on Tuesday as it was a holiday. Local residents as well as fire service personnel had rescued him and had rushed him to the hospital. However he died without responding to treatment.
