When one moves through  social changes  naturally there will be some opposition from individuals or a class of society. We should not lose hope and continue with our good  work without fear.   Saint Kanakadasa showed that God treats human beings as equals.  An ordinary man can also reach God with his knowledge and pure unmotivated love.  Presiding over the programme, MLA J R Lobo said that Kanaka Jayanthi is a day to remember the messages of Kanakadasa.

Saint Kanakadasa’s love towards motherland and his spiritual life are more relevant even today.   Breaking  barriers of caste and community following the messages of great saint and  becoming his disciples  would retain his values to the coming generations.
