Take measures to prevent water scarcity: DC directs officials

Mangaluru, April 08, 2022: Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra has directed tahsildars to hold regular meetings to ensure no water scarcity crops up during summer.

 

He was addressing a meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority on  April 7, Thursday. The DC said Tahsildars must hold task force meetings.

There has been no shortage of fodder or water for cattle in the district so far and  all measures must be taken to see that there is no shortage in the future too, he said.

He said those concerned must initiate measures to see that there are no mishaps while undertaking construction works.

MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar, SP Rishikesh Sonavane, Additional DC Dr Krishnamurthi and others were present.
