Tahsildar’s assistant trapped by Lokayukta while accepting bribe

Mangaluru, Sep 30, 2022: An assistant of the Tahsildar was trapped red-handed by the Lokayukta  at the  Taluk Office at Mini Vidhana Saudha in the city on September 30, Friday while he was accepting bribe.

 

 

 

The accused is Shivananda Natekar. The Lokayukta police have taken him to custody. It has been learnt that he had demanded Rs 4,700 as bribe to issue NOC to a person.

Lokayukta SP Laxmi Ganesh and DySP Cheluvaraj led the operation.
