Tableau row : Swabhimana procession begins from Garodi shrine

Mangaluru, Jan 26, 2022: The protest march organised by various organisations to condemn the denial of permission for the Brahmashree Narayana Guru tableau of Kerala in the Republic Day parade, commenced from the Brahma Baidarkala Garodi  on January 26, Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Swabhimana Padayatra will reach Kudroli Temple after passing through several prominent roads of the city.

All the participants of the procession are seen wearing yellow shawls. A pooja was offered at the Garodi prior to commencement of the Padayatra.

District Congress President Harish Kumar, Ivan D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde and many other Congress leaders and Billawa leaders are taking part in the procession.
