Suspicious death of pregnant woman from Jarkhand; complaint filed

Hebri, September 4, 2024: A complaint has been lodged in Hebri police station regarding the suspicious death of a pregnant woman of Jarkhand origin.

The deceased is Priyanka Oran (24), wife of Bipin Oran. They stayed in an accommodation of the farm house of Antony K A of Bachappu Nekkarke in Hebri village. Priyanka had come to Hebri two and a half months ago but was reportedly not interested to stay and work here. The complaint lodged by Roby Oran stated that she was mentally agonized and hanged herself on the night of September 2.

Further investigations are in progress.
