Suratkal police arrest man with 2.7kg of ganja

Mangalore, Jan 4, 2012 : The Suratkal police arrested a man who was attempting to sell ganja near Ganeshpur and seized 2.7kg of ganja from him on the afternoon of Jan 3 Tuesday.

K. U. Belliappa, the station house officer, and a police team were responsible for this arrest.

The arrested Ravi alias Ravindra Gudadini (24) of Muddebihal in Bijapur confessed during police interrogation that he had brought the drug from Bijapur to sell it to his customers. The total value of the drugs seized from him is Rs. 25,000.

 

SI Ramesh Hanapur and police officers Ramachandra, Bharat, Lokesh, Girish, and others formed part of the police team involved in this case.
