Surathkal: Woman seriously injured as saree gets caught in scooter wheel

Surathkal, Nov 27, 2025: A woman suffered serious injuries after she fell off a scooter when her saree got entangled in the scooter’s wheel near Kana, Surathkal, on the outskirts of Mangaluru.

The fall was captured on the dash-camera of a bus that was right behind the scooter.

Showing exemplary humanity, the bus driver, Moyide, immediately stopped the bus, rushed to help the injured woman, and took her to the hospital. After admitting her for treatment, he returned and continued driving the bus.

The incident occurred when a mother and her son were travelling on the scooter near Kana.
