Surathkal: Coconut tree falls on house near Kuchigudde; MLA Bharath Shetty inspects damage

Surathkal, Oct 18, 2025: A large coconut tree fell on a house near Kuchigudde, close to Surathkal, on Friday night, damaging the roof of the house. MLA Dr. Bharath Shetty Y visited the spot and inspected the damaged house.

During his visit, the MLA spoke with officials and instructed them to provide necessary compensation and assistance for the reconstruction of the house under natural calamity relief measures.

Municipal councillor Nayana R. Kotian, Raghavendra Shenoy, Divesh Poojary, Anil Salyan, and others were present on the occasion.
