Suniel Shetty visits Kuthar Koragajja shrine, prays for success of son Ahan Shetty’s Border 2

Ullal, Jan 17, 2026: Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty visited the original shrine of Kuthar Koragajja, a revered spiritual centre of the coastal region, on Friday and offered prayers seeking divine blessings.

Speaking to the media, Shetty said that anyone who comes to Mangaluru makes it a point to visit the Koragajja shrine, as the deity is believed to fulfil the wishes of devotees. “My son, daughter and son-in-law have all visited this place earlier. I had a long-standing desire to come here, which has been fulfilled today. My son Ahan Shetty’s much-awaited film Border 2 is set for release, and I have come here to pray for its success,” he said.

Suniel Shetty added that with the aim of taking Tulu language and culture to the global stage, he had earlier acted in the Tulu film Jai. He also stated that at present he has no other projects planned in Tulu or Kannada cinema.

On behalf of the Kuthar Koragajja Adisthala, Suniel Shetty was felicitated and honoured. Mumbai-based businessman Vivek Shetty Bolyaguttu, Mahabala Hegde of the Kuthar Koragajja Adikshetra, Deviprasad Shetty, Sriram Rai and others were present.
