Sullia youth killed in hit-and-run in Mysuru

Sullia, December 13, 2025: A youth from Sullia lost his life in a road accident that occurred early Friday morning at Malavalli near Mysuru.

The deceased has been identified as Dikshith (25), son of Sheshappa Naik, a resident of Kaltar in Ubaradka Mithur village of Sullia taluk.

Dikshith, who was employed with a private company in Bengaluru, was travelling on his motorcycle from Bengaluru to his native place Kaltar in Kandadka when an unidentified vehicle allegedly hit his bike near Malavalli and fled the spot.

He sustained serious injuries in the collision and is said to have died while being shifted to a nearby hospital by locals.

The deceased is survived by his parents and a large number of relatives.
