Sullia: Two arrested for setting fire to bike parked in garage

Sullia, Oct. 2, 2026: Police have arrested two persons in connection with a case involving a bike being set on fire at a garage in Ambetadka, Sullia Kasaba village.

The arrested have been identified as Dayananda (30), a resident of Aivarnadu, Sullia, and Darshan Raju (23), a resident of Sullia Kasaba.

The incident occurred on the night of August 26, 2026, when unidentified miscreants allegedly set fire to a bike parked inside a garage at Ambetadka. A case was registered at Sullia Police Station under Section 326(g) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

During the investigation, Sullia police arrested the two accused and produced them before a court. The court subsequently remanded them to judicial custody.
