Sullia: Man arrested for sexually harassing minor girl

Sullia, Oct 29, 2025: A man has been arrested by Bellare police under the POCSO Act for allegedly sexually harassing a minor girl.

The accused has been identified as Giridhar Rai of Pajimbila. He was produced before the court, which has remanded him to judicial custody.

According to police, on October 26 around 2 p.m., the accused allegedly sexually harassed a girl who was sitting at the Nintikallu Junction bus stop in Murulya village. Following a complaint, Bellare police registered a case and arrested the accused after investigation.
