Sullia: Husband arrested for killing wife, stuffing body in gunny bag

Sullia, Nov 26, 2022: Police have arrested the husband of the woman whose body was found stuffed inside a gunny bag at their rented house at Beeramangala in Sullia recently.

The arrested person is Imran Sheikh from West Bengal. The Sullia cops managed to arrest him with the help of their counterparts in West Bengal and brought him to Sullia.

 

Imran worked in a hotel in Sullia and used to live with his wife. However recently neighbours had heard screams from his house and also  noticed that he had left for his hometown alone without taking his wife. Later  when the house doors were broken open by the police, the body of the wife of Imran was found stuffed inside a gunny bag.

The motive behind the arrest is yet to be known.
