Sullia: Calf rescued after falling into 15-foot-deep well

Sullia, Nov 8, 2025: A calf that had fallen into a well near the Sonangeri bus stop was rescued by personnel from the Fire and Emergency Services Department.

The calf, belonging to a local resident named Yogish from Sonangeri, accidentally fell into a 15-foot-deep well near the bus stop. Firefighters, along with local residents, worked together to lift the calf safely out of the well.

The rescue operation was led by Fire Station Officer Kiran Kumar S, along with personnel Mohammed Rafeeq, Chandrashekar Naik, Sanjeeva Gowda, Harshavardhan, Mohan Babu and Honnappa.
