Sullia: Accused absconding for four years arrested in Bengaluru

Sullia, December 19, 2025: Sullia police have arrested an accused who had been absconding for nearly four years in connection with a fraud case. The accused was arrested in Bengaluru.

Police identified the arrested person as Nagesh, a resident of Kaduru village. He was an accused in a case registered at the Sullia police station and had been evading court proceedings for about four years by failing to appear before the court.

Sullia police personnel Ramesh and Shreeshaila arrested Nagesh on Thursday at Chikkabidarikallu in Bengaluru and produced him before the court. The court has remanded the accused to judicial custody.
