Sullia: 1 dead, 10 injured as KSRTC bus collides with truck

Sullia, Nov 16, 2022: A collision between a KSRTC bus and a container truck near Kallugundi of Arantodu in Sullia taluk on November 15, Tuesday, resulted in the death of the truck driver and injuries to ten others in the bus.

 

The KSRTC bus was on way to Puttur from Mysuru when the mishap took place. The injured have been shifted to hospitals.

The impact of the collision was such that the truck driver got stuck in the vehicle and had to be brought out using gas cutter. Though  he was rushed to the hospital, he died enroute.

Some of the injured have been identified as Rama Naik of Bantwal, Yunath of Sullia, Rudraraj of Chikkamagaluru and Surendra of Shivamogga.
