Suicide Pact Suspected - Family of 4 Dead in Bed.

Subrahmanya, May 11, 2014: On Saturday, May 10 evening rapid fire news in this holy Town brought gloom and sorrow. Four members said to be of a family from Rajajinagar, Bangalore, were found dead in a room on the fourth floor of a Lodge they were occupying. All the four dead were found in their beds, consumption of a poisonous substance may be the cause of suicide it is reported.

The main door of the room was locked from inside. The dead are said to be  Nanjundaiah (45), his wife Jayalakshmi (39), son Pavan (13) and daughter Shrilakshmi (8). They had checked in on May 7 and given their names as stated above. On Wednesday, the family had a darshan of the Kukke Shri Subrahmanya deity and returned to their room. Thereafter they had not come out of the room. Death may have occurred on Wednesday or Thursday it is speculated. The incident came to light on Saturday May 10.

The address given in the records by the deceased has been contacted and arrival of next of kin is awaited.
