Students take out rally condemning SC verdict on Homosexuality

Mangalore, Dec 17, 2013: Several students took out a protest march in the city on December 16, Monday opposing the recent Supreme Court verdict on Section 377 which declares homosexuality as a criminal offence.

 

 

 

 

The protestors who were dressed in black marched from Bendore to KS Rao Road holding placards pledging their support to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community.

One of the agitators said the Supreme Court verdict was unfair particularly when the constitution of India ensures right to equality. The students also demanded repeal of Sec 377.
