Student allegedly raped at NITK beach; accused arrested

Mangaluru, Aug 01, 2022: Suratkal police have arrested a man who has been accused of raping a girl who was with her classmate  at the NITK beach at Suratkal.

 

The arrested person is Munaz Ahmed (30). He is a fish lorry driver. The victim has lodged a complaint with the police alleging that  she had been to the beach with her friend on July 27 when the accused who drove away her friend later raped her.

The complainant has said that the accused has also filmed the act and has threatened her.
