Strong winds uproot tree on Shiradi Ghat stretch; traffic disrupted

Mangaluru, May 13, 2024: Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds uprooted a tree that fell straight on the road at Shiradi Ghat on March 13, Sunday night. 

This incident affected vehicular movement on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway.

Forest officials and police personnel rushed to the spot and are trying to clear the tree branches on the road.
