St Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Church, Shibaje celebrates annual feast

Nelyady, Feb 9, 2013 : The Blessed Annual Feast of St Ignatius, the Patron Saint of St Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Church at Shibaje was celebrated with fervor  from February 6 to 8.  The Feast commenced with the flag hoisting on February 6. There was the holy mass followed by meditation(Dhyanam) on February 8.

The holy pilgrimage procession was inaugurated by Bishop H.G. Marcose More Christostomose. Church Vicar Fr PK Abraham, Core Episcopa John Varghese, Rev. Fr KuriaKose, Rev Fr Jiju Syriak, Rev. Fr Wilson Mathew, Rev. Fr Monsy Varghese, Rev. Fr Philip Vaidyan, Rev. Fr Anish PJ and others were present.

Later, in the evening there was a procession from Udane St Thomas Church to Shibaje Church. Hundreds of devotees took part in the procession.
