St. Agnes College organizes state-level workshop on statistics

Mangalore, July 16, 2012: The department of statistics of St. Agnes College organized a 2-day state-level workshop on ’Statistical Computing Using R’ in its Conference Hall. It was inaugurated on July 16 and will come to an end on July 17.

 

 

 

 

 

The aim of the organizers is to improve the analytical and research skills of its teachers, research scholars, and students. 

Prof. Shrivenkataramana, director of the MBA program at Brindavan College Bangalore, was the chief guest of the occasion. He expressed his happiness that more and more women are taking interest in statistics these days. He also presented a PowerPoint on Statistical Methods: Applications.
