In her address, Dr Malini Hebbar urged women to recognise both their strengths and their responsibilities in shaping society. “There are no limits to what a woman can achieve when she believes in her abilities and works with determination. Progress must also include the courage to speak against injustice and support one another in creating a more equitable society,” she said. She added that when women realise their potential and act with conviction, their influence extends beyond personal success and contributes to wider social change.

A key highlight of the programme was the presentation of student achievement awards instituted by alumni donors. The Agnesian Outstanding Leader Award, instituted by Carol Pais in memory of her parents Philip and Mariette Pais, was presented to Ananya Madhu of III B.Sc. The Most Talented Agnesian Award, instituted by Marjorie Texeira, was awarded to Serena Saldanha of III B.Com ACCA. The Best Scholar Award, instituted by Dr Meera Aranha, went to Rithika of III B.Sc, while the Best Sportswoman Award, instituted by Daisy Coelho, was presented to Adithi Shetty of III BA.
