Sports meet for media persons held in city

Mangalore, Jan 8, 2012: Krishna J. Palemar, the district-in-charge minister, inaugurated the sports meet for media representatives organized jointly by the DK Working Journalist Union (DKWJU) and Mangalore Press Club on St. Aloysius College Centenary Ground near Jyothi Circle on Jan 8, Sunday. 

Speaking on the occasion, he said that media representatives are always busy collecting news for their media firms, owing to which this event will provide relaxation for them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DC Dr. N. S. Channappa Gowda said that this event will help journalists strengthen their bonds of friendship with one another and also display their talents. 

Seemanth Kumar Singh, the Mangalore police commissioner; Dr. K. N. Vijayaprakash, the ZP CEO; Krishna J. Palemar, the district-in-charge minister; DC Dr. N. S. Channappa Gowda; and others played laggori to start the event. 

The MCs were Shrinivas Indaje and K. V. Raman.
