Speeding container lorry claims life of pedestrian

Udupi, Nov 02, 2023: A pedestrian lost his life after he was hit by a container lorry at Santhekatte on November 1, Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjeeva (61).  The mishap occurred when Sanjeeva was walking on the kutcha road adjacent to the National Highway 66.

 

The container lorry which was proceeding at great speed went out of control of the driver and overturned resulting in the death of Sanjeeva.

Udupi Traffic Police have registered a case.
