Speeding bus rams into truck injuring both drivers

Mangalore, Feb 2, 2012 : Two people have been severely injured in a ghastly road accident near Bunts Hostel Circle early this morning.

 

 The vehicles involved in the accident were a KSRTC bus bound to Puttur and MCC’s waste carrier truck moving from Kadri to PVS Circle. The injured are the drivers of these vehicles.

According to eye witnesses, the driver of the bus was going too fast, was on the wrong side of the road, and did not see the truck. The bus rammed into the truck, the impact causing considerable damage to both vehicles and severely injuring the drivers.

The police arrived in 15 minutes. The case is now being investigated.
