Speeding bike fatally knocks down woman at Manipal

Manipal, Nov 11, 2013 : A woman  who  was knocked down by a speeding bike while crossing the road at Lakshmindra Nagar near here on November 9, evening  has succumbed at the hospital on November 10, Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Premavathi (58). She has left behind  her journalist son Shashidhar Mastibailu and also a daughter.

The mishap took place when Premavathi who was an employee of Manipal Press was  crossing the road after alighting from a bus. 

Even one Kajal Shetty who was in the bike has been injured. Manipal police have registered a case.
