Mangalore, Dec 11, 2011: Spandana Trust, located in Infant Mary’s Convent, Jeppu celebrated Christmas on Dec 10 with people suffering from diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, renal failure, cardiac diseases, and others, irrespective of caste and creed.
The celebrations included a Christmas skit, illustrating the birth of Jesus. Children gave dance presentations and Sr. Josephin D’Silva delivered the Christmas message.
Sr. Mary Emma Joseph, the superior of Infant Mary’s Convent, presided over the event. Sr. Evangeline, the managing trustee of Spandana Trust, delivered the welcome address. Mrs. Reena Lobo delivered the vote of thanks.
The convener and MC of the event was Mr. Victor Vas.
A group of 250 people participated.
