Sorcerer nabbed for sexually harassing woman

Kasargod, Sep 10, 2013 :  Kasargod police have arrested a sorcerer on charges of sexual harassment  following a complaint lodged by the wife of a Madarasa teacher .

The arrested is Moidin alias Mohammad (62) a resident of Avikkare in Kanhangad, He is learnt to have hailed from Payyanur  and had married as many as five times.

Recently, the thirty year old woman  had lodged a complaint against him alleging that he had   sexually assaulted her.

It is learnt she had approached the man along with her husband  on April 10 to solve some marital problem. The complaint said that the sorcerer made the husband wait outside and took the woman inside. It is learnt, he  made  the woman lose consciousness and then sexually assaulted her.

It is said the man also faced similar charges on several earlier occasions, but no one had lodged a complaint.

Investigations are underway.
