Soorinje man arrested with Rs 7 lakh worth charas at Bajpe

Mangaluru, Aug 03, 2023: Bajpe police have arrested a man from Soorinje with 250 grams charas valued at Rs 7 lakh at Mura nagara on August 2, Wednesday. The car belonging to the accused has also been seized.

 

 

 

 

Bajpe police during checking of vehicles at Muranagara had noticed a car without registration number and instructed it to stop. However the car fled and in the process hit a tree and the police managed to arrest Abdul Azeez (34) while another accused escaped.

The man escaped has been identified as Faizal of Moodbidri and police have launched a search for him.
