Someshwara: Body of missing man found 10 km away in Uchila river

Ullal, July 18, 2025: The body of Keshava Shetty (64), a resident of Kumpala Ashraya Colony under the Someshwara Town Municipality, who had gone missing a few days ago, was found on Friday afternoon in the Uchila river.

Keshava Shetty was reported missing on July 16. His stick was found near the banks of the Pilar stream. Following this, a search operation was launched along the river. On Friday afternoon, his body was recovered from the Uchila river, about 10 kilometers downstream from where he had reportedly fallen.

The tahsildar, police, and fire and emergency services personnel were present at the spot.
