Soldier from Mangaluru dies of cardiac arrest in Bhopal

Mangaluru, Jan 25, 2023: The mortal remains of  Muralidhar B S,  a 37 year old soldier from Mangaluru who died of cardiac arrest  in sleep on January 23, Monday at Bhopal where he was posted, were brought to Mangaluru on January 24, Tuesday by a flight.  Muralidhar who hailed from Shaktinagar Mogarody   is survived by his wife and a six month old child.

Muralidhar had joined the Sashastr Seema Bal or the Armed Border Force in 2007 and was  on duty at Bhopal as  Hawaldar with HC/GD rank.

 Incidentally, Muralidhar was to return to his hometown on January 24 to participate in the first death anniversary of his mother and was sanctioned 20 days leave.

He had even spoken to his wife a few minutes before he passed away.

Deputy Commissioner Ravikumar M R, ZP CEO Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Madan Mohan and others paid last respects to the departed soldier.

The last rites will be held with full state honours on January 25.
