Silver ornaments stolen from daivasthana

Mangalore, July 4: The Babbuswamy Panjurli Koragajja Daivasthana of Hoigebazaar was burgled on July 3, Saturday. The burglars have made away with silver ornaments worth Rs 45,000.

The temple priest, who had gone to the temple as usual to offer worship, discovered the theft and alerted the authorities. Reliable sources say that the thieves picked the lock of the front door and stole the silver ornaments from the temple.

The temple authorities lodged a complaint at the Pandeshwar Police Station, and accordingly, the police have registered a case and are investigating the theft.
