Shrinivasa Thodthillaya wins Maruthi SX4 in IOC campaign

Udupi April 25, 2012 : The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) has issued a press release announcing that K. Shrinivasa Thodthillaya of Udupi has won a Maruthi SX4 car in an All India IOC campaign.


loc 1IOC had launched a “Car in a Tank” campaign at the national level from Oct 2011 to Jan 2012 to strengthen its bond with customers.

The campaign encouraged customers who purchase fuel worth more than Rs. 500 at IOC outlets all over India to send a text message to the company. Several prizes were given away on the occasion, some of them being 4 Maruthi Suzuki Zen Estillos, Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, 20 Apple iPads, and many others. The bumper prize was a Maruthi Suzuki SX4. The offer came to an end on Jan 31, 2012.

Mr. Thodhillaya had purchased fuel for his car at M/s Bharani Fuels and Service in Brahmavar under the IOC’s Mangalore divisional office.

The company formally presented the car to Mr. Thodthillaya at a special ceremony organized by M/s Bharani Fuels at Brahmavar on Tuesday.

B. Ashok, the executive director of IOC; N. Shrikumar, the executive director (CC and Branding); K. A. Aithal, the manager (RS) of the Mangalore divisional office; and K. Panduranga Rao, the chief divisional manager (RS), were also present.
