Shivamogga: Woman hacked to death in suspected case of old enmity

Shivamogga, Nov 10, 2025: A shocking incident of murder has come to light in Siddeshwara Nagar of Dummalli village in Shivamogga taluk, where a woman was hacked to death with a lethal weapon on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Gangamma (45).

Police suspect that the murder may have been committed due to previous enmity. In connection with the case, two persons — Nagesh Naik and Harish — have been taken into custody for interrogation.

Tunganagar police visited the scene and conducted an investigation.
