Belthangady, May 6, 2013  : Disability should never be a barrier to achieve anything in life. A young woman from Padangady in Belthangady, served as a role model to many who are averse to voting despite being hale and hearty, by exercising her franchise with her toes, for she  had no hands.

Sabitha Monis from Padangady who works at Alva’s College, Moodbidri  arrived at the polling booth at Padangady  exercised her franchise with her toes and the election officials as an exception applied the indelible  applied it  on her toe
