Sharan Pumpwell prevented from entering Udupi

Udupi, Oct 10, 2023: Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Sharan Pumpwell who was part of the Shaurya Ratha of the VHP which entered Udupi from Mangaluru on October 10, Tuesday, was prevented by the police and sent back to Mangaluru.

 

The police action followed as Sharan has violated the bail rule imposed on him. It may be recalled here that Sharan faces a suo moto case in Udupi for delivering a provocative speech and is presently on conditional bail.

In Udupi, a Hindu Samajotsava is scheduled to be held today at MGM Stadium.
