Serial mishap at Nelyady; car driver dies

Nelyady, May 28, 2022: A serial mishap involving a tipper, a car and a lorry on the National Highway 75 at Mannagundi near Nelyady on Friday evening claimed the life of the  driver of the car.

 

The deceased is Nelson (42) of Shirvathadka in Shiradi village. A person named Felix who was in Nelson’s vehicle has been injured and hospitalised.

The car was on way to Shiradi from Nelyady while the coal laden  lorry in its bid to overtake rammed into the tipper.

Nelyady police are investigating the case.
