Senior lawyer found dead at home; heart attack suspected

Mangaluru, July 12, 2023: Senior lawyer of Mangaluru Harish Acharya was found dead at his house at Bejai Barebail on July 11, Tuesday. He was 60 years old.

 

Acharya who was living alone was present at the court last Friday. However when he did not come to the court in the later days, his colleagues had called his mobile and when it went unanswered visited his residence. As it was locked, police had to break open the door.

Acharya was found dead and his body was partially decomposed. Though the exact cause of the death is not known, a heart attack or some other health problem is suspected to be the reason.

His relatives have been requested to contact Urwa police station.
