Seminar on dermatology held at Fr. Muller College

Mangalore, Sep 11: The department of dermatology, leprosy, and venereology at Fr. Muller College organized a 2-day seminar called Derma 20 at the Knowledge Centre in its Decennial Memorial Building today. 

 

 

 

The purpose of the event was to commemorate the PG department’s 20th anniversary. Dr. Ramesh Bhat M., the head of the department, presented a report of the department’s achievements ever since its inception. IGP (western range) Alok Mohan inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. 

In his inaugural address, Alok Mohan spoke of the role of dermatologists in society and urged them to provide the best possible care to people suffering from leprosy.

Fr. Denis D’Sa, Fr. Patrik Rodrigues, and Dr. Jayaprakash Alva also spoke on the occasion.
