In Udupi district, the examinations are being conducted at 29 centres, with 17,181 students appearing. This includes 16,657 fresh candidates, 383 private candidates, 135 repeaters, and six students seeking improvement in their results.

The Department of School Education has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure transparency and fairness, including the deployment of inspection teams and the installation of surveillance systems. The examinations are being held from 10 am to 1 pm on all scheduled dates.

The district administrations have implemented necessary measures to maintain a secure and orderly environment at all centres. Strict guidelines prohibit candidates from carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets into the examination premises under any circumstances.

To prevent malpractice, CCTV cameras have been installed both inside and outside examination halls at every centre. The live footage is being monitored from the strong room at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
