Sea erosion: 1 house washed away at Battapady; 3 more in danger

Mangaluru, June 28, 2024: One house was washed away by tidal waves due to severe sea erosion at Battapady in Ullal on Thursday. Three other houses in the area are presently facing danger.

The family which was residing in the house that was washed away on Thursday, was vacated on June 26 itself and shifted to a safer place.

On June 27 the family members of the other three houses were shifted to safer places by the authorities.

Due to heavy rains, the sea has turned rough with mighty waves lashing at the shores.
