Scooterist killed in tanker-scooter collision at Hejamady

Udupi, Sept 15, 2018 : In atragic incident, scooterist died on the spot as palm oil tanker collided with the scooter at Hejamady on September 15, Saturday.

 

The deceased is identified as Jayraj(55). He was employed abroad had been to hometown.

It is learnt that Palm oil tanker was on its way to Sringeri from Mangaluru harbour. As the driver lost control on the vehile it hit the divider and collided with the Jayraj’s scooter plying from opposite direction. Due to the impact he was crushed to death.

He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter. Padubidri police have registered the case.
